I recently discovered a "Medicine Ball" from Starbuck. I was told is contains many cold busting remedies so I was all for a drink from Starbucks I can actually feel good about! I mean, who else actually uses Starbucks as a treat??
Medicine Ball is on the "secret menu" meaning you won't find it advertised in Starbucks. And actually I requested it once and was told they didn't serve it any longer and gave me an alternative (which I can't remember what that was.) I
Here is what you need for 1 Medicine Ball. Quick side not: Starbucks uses Teavana and I purchased Bigelow Tea from my local grocery store. They were out of a plain mint tea so I got the green tea mint and it tasted the same.
Mint Tea
Peach Tea
Lemons
Honey
16 oz Water
Boil water. Juice the three lemons. Add 8 oz of the water to the lemon juice and steam. If you don't have a steamer, like me, you can put the juice and water mixture in the microwave, cover with a plate and set it for 1 minute. After the steaming, at the 8oz of steamed "lemonade" in a larger cup, add the remaining 8oz of water and put in 1 teabag of each the mint tea and the peach tea. Stir in 2 teaspoons of honey and let the tea steep for a couple minutes.
There you have it! You can add more honey if you like it sweater. I personally like the tang of the lemons!
Let me know if you decide to try it!!
