Babies don't keep! In fact once they start on that growing up plan new things happen almost daily!!
Hollis has always been rather independent, but my saving grace to this streak is that he has LOVED his stroller! Public outings have always been semi bearable until recently. Normally fully content to be pushed everywhere we go, our almost 2 year old would now rather put his tiny legs to good use! Hello, walking is the new strolling, Mom!! As any wise mother would do, I decided to choose the option with the least amount of whining!! Walking it is!

This ultra cute harness backpackis the perfect size for toddlers! It comfortably fits Hollis's shoulders and secures across his chest. Since Hollis was born premature he is a bit smaller than the average 2 year old, but adjusting the straps was super easy and quick!
At the bottom of the scandipapa by Gabby Box backpackis a detachable chord so your little one can walk ahead (or lag behind) semi-independently. One thing I loved about the chord is that it was long enough to give Hollis his space and even run a little bit, but he was never too far away from me where I couldn't quickly grab him if necessary.
The scandipapa by Gabby Box safety harness backpackhas one large zipper compartment that is just big enough to hold his cup, an few diapers and a change of clothes. For church I detach the chord, pack his little bag, and he wears it right into the nursery. So much less cumbersome than leaving my entire diaper bag!
